What is an Estate Sale?
It is a professionally managed sale of a home’s contents, typically used to clear a property before it is sold or prepared for listing. Estate sales are common during life transitions such as moving, probate, downsizing, divorce, relocation, or after a death.
Unlike a garage sale, an estate sale involves most or all of the contents in a home and is professionally managed to maximize value and efficiency while reducing stress for the homeowners and heirs.
Call the estate sale company first before any donations or clean-out of the property occur. That is why you are hiring the estate sale company. Many of the items donated or trashed can be sold. For example: shampoo, soap, cleaning supplies, clothes, food, old cars….
